An edition brimming with the colours of spring
True to its role as a source of inspiration and ideas for seasonal outings in this vibrant city, “The mini-guide" #2 focuses on some of the events and exhibitions not to be missed over the spring-summer season. The guide naturally features the Nuits de Fourvière [Fourvière Nights] and the Lyon Street Food Festival, which celebrate their 80th and 10th anniversaries respectively this year.
In terms of activities, the "Move!" section of the mini-guide suggests refreshing outings along the river, either on the banks of the Saône or during a commented cruise with the Bateaux Lyonnais company. The new edition also ventures out of Lyon with a visit to the Hermitage Rock Garden in Saint-Cyr-au-Mont-d’Or, wine tours and the France Adventures treetop adventure course at Fort de Bron, guaranteed to delight children and teenagers eager to expend their energy.
The "Time to eat!" section highlights three gourmet establishments: Trèfle, a plant-based restaurant run by Chef Emily Dader; Le Sully, an officially recognised Lyon "bouchon", and the Maison Nô rooftop with its stunning panoramic view of the city. On the shopping side, Club Mirette, Artimbale, Philéone and Georges beers bring their touch of colour and freshness to the "Shop!" section.
