The private kingdomof antique dealers and vintage fashion
Lyon Metropole boasts approximately 650 antique dealers mainly located on the Presqu’île in the Auguste Comte district and also in Villeurbanne at La Cité des Antiquaires and the Puces du Canal (flea market).
In existence for over twenty years now, the Puces du Canal is the second largest flea market in France. Finally, amateurs and connoisseurs of vintage fashion meet every year in March at the Vintage Fashion Market.
Le Carré d’Or in Lyon
Le Carré d'Or, located between Place Bellecour and Place des Cordeliers, is home to over 70 luxury stores and ideal for a relaxed stroll. Ever since the 19th century, Passage de l'Argue in the heart of Le Carré d’Or, between Rue de la République and Rue Edouard Herriot, has housed stores steeped in old-fashioned charm. Here, stores of yore offer visitors a shopping experience worthy of a different era.
